XXII GIOCHI OLIMPICI INVERNALI- SOCHI 2014

Le gare di Pattinaggio di Figura si terranno dal 6 al 22 febbraio presso L'Iceberg Skating Palace a Sochi. Le medaglie saranno assegnate nelle discipline MEN, LADIES; PAIRS e ICE DANCE e per la prima volta si assegnerà anche la medaglie nella gara a squadre o Team Event.Per questo motivo le gare inizieranno il giorno prima della cerimonia di apertura, appunto con il Team Event, ed è la prima volta nella storia dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali che le gare di pattinaggio di figura si terranno prima della cerimonia di apertura il 7 febbraio

Saranno in gara 30 atlete in rappresentanza di 20 nazioni. Tra le pattinatrici iscritte, solamente 7 hanno già preso parte ai Giochi Olimpici.

L'Iceberg Skating Palace è una struttura multifunzionale con una capacità di 12.000 spettatori e ospiterà oltre la gare di pattinaggio di figura anche quelle del pattinaggio velocità short track ( pista corta). E' stato inaugurato nel 2012 ha ospitato la Grand Prix Final 2012-2013 a dicembre di quell'anno, Ci vogliono due ore per preparare il ghiaccio in modo che da adatto al pattinaggio di figura diventi adatto allo short track e viceversa

Dopo le olimpiadi la struttura sarà usata ancora per il pattinaggio o verrà convertita in un velodromo per gare ciclistiche

su twitter è tutto un chiedere quando pattinerà la russa... e che noia!!! ma se ci sono tante più belle da vedere (oh a me la piccoletta sembra un automa, non ci posso far niente).. non vuoi tifare per Carolina (che tanto "è quella che cade sempre"?) ma almeno informati... :ph34r:
