Vi riporto la parte dell'articolo di Beverly Smith per il sito di Skate Canada, relativa a Tessa e Scott :

Virtue and Moir navigated that trap well, but admitted their trip into twizzle territory was “adventurous.”

Moir acknowledged he and Virtue had “a bit of a moment” before they skated. “You never know where your career is going to go and if we’re going to skate next year, those questions that we don’t want to answer yet.”

Moir found himself very emotional while in the start position, thinking this might be his last Skate Canada.

“We had a great feeling the first minute and a half,” he said. “They’re telling in the scores, so we’ve got to clean that up. At this time of year that is really important.”

Virtue said they’ve trained the twizzles really well at home, but at both of their previous competitions, they’d had a stumble or two on twizzles. Now they have to get down to business, maybe change the placement of them. “It’s not something we want to risk going forward,” she said.

Weaver and Poje were visibly surprised while watching replays of Virtue and Moir’s errors. “Tessa and Scott are Olympic champions,” Weaver said. “They are everything we strive to be. And while their errors are quite uncharacteristic, to me they are the quintessential ice dancing team of our time.”

Moir si è sentito molto emozionato nella posa iniziale, pensando che potrebbe essere il suo ultimo Skate Canada.

"Per il primo minuto e mezzo abbiamo provato una grande sensazione" dice "Lo dicono i punteggi, per cui dobbiamo fare pulizia. A questo punto della stagione è veramente importante"

Virtue dice che si sono allenati veramente bene sui twizzels a casa, ma in entrambe le loro precedenti gare hanno avuto incertezze Ora devono mettersi al lavoro e forse cambiarne la posizione all'interno del programma. "E' un rischio che non vogliamo correre ancora"

Weaver e Poje erano visibilmente stupiti mentre guardavano i replay degli errori di Virtu e Moir. "Tessa e Scott sono campioni olimpici" dice Weaver "Loro sono tutto ciò che noi vogliamo raggiungere. E mentre i loro errori sono inusuali, loro sono per me la quintessenza delle coppie di danza della nostra epoca"

Invidio la vostra tranquillità!!!!

L'unica cosa, al di là di tutto è che vedrò la loro FD!!!
Sperando in una qualità delle riprese migliore di quella della SD, che mi ha lasciata un po' insoddisfatta, soprattutto quando vedo grazie alle foto di Ice dei particolari che dal video non avevo proprio visto.

E, a proposito di video, ci sarà anche quello con il commento di Eurosport inglese? Perché mi piacerebbe sentire come lo commentano...

Shayii: Princess, can I have the link for that picture in your profile? I think it's recent from when Tessa and Scott were at RBC Olympics? Also I think I read your post fast because I was confused first why all the pics looked like they were kissing lol. They were so cute in the 04/05 season.

Exactly.. we like to comment not only the technical aspects (perfect) of their skating, but above all what they make us feel, all the deepest emotions. For each of us they transmit different things, in any case, all wonderful things.
